Oral Abstract (Scientific Session) Presentation Recommendations:

We recommend that the background material be covered in 1 – 2 slides only. We suggest no more than three lines per slide and no more than six words per line.  We also request a 10 slide limit per presentation. Use a few words or a phrase to emphasize or reinforce an idea; it will make it easier for the audience to read, comprehend, and remember. Computer/PowerPoint presentation will be the only method of presentation permitted.  Please check at the General Information tab of the annual meeting website or the onsite program book for the hours of this room. All presentations should be in PowerPoint. If you or your co-authors have a last name that is often mispronounced, please speak directly with the moderator at the time of your session.  If necessary, please provide a phonetic guide written out on an index card.

Please note the continuing education content validation statements:
All scientific research referred to, reported or used in your presentation in support or justification of a patient care recommendation must conform to the generally accepted standards of experimental design, data collection and analysis.  Recommendations you make during your presentation involving clinical medicine must be based on evidence that is accepted within the profession of medicine as adequate justification for their indications and contraindications in the care of patients.  We also encourage you to report to the audience the levels of evidence you are using to support your clinical recommendations.
